Welcome to all of our new residents!

This page has important basic information that you will need when you move into your new apartment and can refer back to as needed.

Here are a few items to help:

POLICE AND FIRE= call 911! (non emergency City of Milwaukee police 933-4444)

 1)       Don’t forget to call and have the gas and electric put in your name.

 WE Energies
 800-242-9137
 One operator can do both!

GAS EMERGENCY 800-261-5325

ELECTRIC EMERGENCY 800-662-4797

Phone=SBC/Ameritech 800-924-1000

Time Warner Cable 277-4000 (*Call landlord and obtain written permission before any new wiring is installed!)

2)         Please call or e-mail us so we can update our files with your new phone number.  Our web site is www.dominionproperty.biz.

3)         Rent is due on the FIRST day of each month and must be mailed to
P.O. Box 511595 Milwaukee, WI 53203.   Per your lease, late fees
will be  assessed for late rent.

4)         Garbage pickup is on certain days.  Call 414-286-8282 for special pickup of large piles and to find out your pickup days.  Recycling bins are collected on a random basis; do not take them to the curb.  To keep your property looking its best, always return empty garbage carts and recycling bins to the storage area as soon as possible.  If you leave them at the curb they kill the grass, get stolen, or fill up with other people’s garbage.

5)         Please pick up any trash you see in the yard….help keep our city clean!

6)         Shovel all sidewalks within 12 hours of snowfall.  Your safety and the safety of all are important to us.

7)         If there is an emergency involving damage to the unit, call Mike at 414-406-8888 or Christopher at 414-788-9131.  For non-emergency maintenance needs or billing questions call Debbie at the office.   The office number is 414-264-5901

8)         Got a water leak??  It is VERY important to stop a leak as quickly as possible and wipe up any standing water.  Shut off the water using the shut off valve under most sinks and toilets.  If there is not a shut off valve or it will not turn, go to the basement and shut the water off to the building (the building shutoff is usually located on the floor nearest the street, having a black plastic grapefruit sized round water meter in between the valves).  Then inform the other tenants about what you have done and why.  Contact us immediately.  Failure to report damage is a violation of your lease.

9)         When you move out your lease ends at Noon the last day of the month.  You must be 100% moved out, with the apartment cleaned and ready to do the “check out” list with the landlord.  Please call us to schedule this final check out.

Let us know if you have any questions and again welcome to your new apartment!
